Endo Unfiltered Series: Episode 3 Part 1

This is what Endometriosis Awareness Month is all about!💛

When I was going through the worst of my battles with endo, I stayed silent. I isolated myself because I was worried I’d be perceived as complaining, attention-seeking, or “playing the victim.”

So many of us with invisible chronic illnesses default to suffering in silence for the same reasons. 🫥

I can’t single-handedly change all the inherent inequalities in the healthcare and insurance industries that exist today, but I can share my story. Because the more we speak up, the more we break the stigma. So that one day, endo warriors won’t have to:

1. Battle the healthcare system and their own bodies

2. Fight just to be believed

3. Fear their symptoms will be dismissed as “normal” or “in their head”

…while a very real, chronic, whole-body inflammatory disease continues to get worse in their bodies; destroying their health, fertility, and quality of life.

No one should have to suffer in silence. You are not alone.

Follow along for more #EndoUnfiltered 💛 Stay tuned for Part 2!
