Endo Unfiltered: Episode 3 Part 2
I never realized what a powerful thing it is to be believed…until I wasn’t. 🫠
I also had no idea the decisions I made under the duress of extreme pain would affect my life forever.
I share my story so others can learn from my mistakes.
The greatest wealth in life really is health.
The conversations you have with your doctors now will affect the rest of your life so don’t hesitate to be your own advocate, to come in well-prepared & well-researched, to ask the difficult questions, to ask about their experience with endo cases and make sure they are the right surgeon for you.
A good, qualified doctor will respect you, not dismiss you. And if you need to hear it, you’re not being entitled or difficult by being your own advocate; you’re being thorough, smart and brave.
You are not alone in this battle.🎗️If you need guidance, comment or DM me and I’ll share resources and communities that helped me and will continue to do so on this page and @endo_visible. 💛
Remember, this disease may be incurable but that doesn’t mean healing isn’t possible.❤️🩹
